ABSTRACT
Web analytics tools have made it possible to show both statistical and graphical representation of web usage data, which has led to an increased number of organizations using these tools for decision making. As a result, there has been a greater demand for workers and managers who have knowledge of analytics tools. Educational institutions have started to create programs to prepare such workers. These programs often try to give students practical exposure to a web analytics tool. This has presented several challenges, such as gaining access to a web analytics tool and data from an active website, and accommodating students with varying levels of technical skills working in online and hybrid environments. This study presents various models for teaching the use of web analytics tools that were considered by the researchers as they developed an undergraduate course in Internet analytics.
